i’m back working on the next elektricshock project for the moment. it’ll be cool, but it might be a while before it sees the light.
the final act in the epic saga called palladium is looming. we’re planning on spending the month of february recording our third and final record to be released, as mandated by tradition and the RPM challenge, on march 1st.
i’ve gotten so much love and positive energy over the last week since zoomerang came out, and i just wanted to say thank you for downloading and listening and having fun with it.
i’m making my way back to palladium for the month of february, working on our second record for the rpm challenge. there’s more elektricshock material in the pipeline, though, so keep an eye out come springtime for a new sound or two.
so now that all is said and done, i think it’s a good time for a formal announcement:
The debut ElektricShock record, entitled “Zoomerang”, will be released for free download from this very tumblr at 12:00 AM on tuesday, january 24th, 2012 [this happens to be one week from today]. ”Zoomerang” was written, produced, and mixed by Luc Bokor-Smith from June-December 2011, and mastered by John Scrip at Massive Mastering in January 2012.
the final tracklisting for “Zoomerang” is as follows:
Gunshots + Hi-Chews
We Interrupt This Program
This Isn’t Love
Test Card (Neon)
so yeah- that’s that… it’s a pretty big deal for me, because it is something that i’ve been putting all my energy into for the last 6 months, but i listened to the final test master of it today and i’m thrilled with how it came out, and can’t wait for people to hear it.
